The Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at the beginning of his meeting with Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy in Moscow on Thursday that the dialogue between Moscow and Cairo on regional and international affairs is of particular importance in the current stage.
Lavrov said adressing Fahmy: "We are pleased to welcome you today in order to continue the dialogue that we have started."
"Since the first two-on-two meeting held in Cairo in last November, we have come a long way for the implementation of the agreements which have been reached. Today's meeting is a good chance to draw the preliminary results of work," he added.
Lavrov pointed out that the agenda of talks with the Egyptian side includes the military-technical and military-economic sides.
