The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense systems shot down 91 Ukrainian drones targeting the Russian presidential residence in the Novgorod region between December 28 and 29.
The Russian Ministry of Defense statement read: “Between December 28 and 29 of this year, Russian Armed Forces air defense systems repelled a terrorist attack launched by the Kyiv regime using 91 attack drones against the Russian presidential residence in the Novgorod region.”
The statement continued: “During the repelling of the Kyiv regime’s terrorist attack, air defense systems intercepted 49 Ukrainian drones overnight over the territory of the Bryansk region, which were headed towards the Novgorod region.”
“Over the Novgorod region, 18 Ukrainian drones heading towards the Presidential Residence of the Russian Federation were intercepted up to 7:00 AM Moscow time on December 29, and between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, another 23 drones were intercepted.”
