Egypt’s Meteorological Authority on Sunday predicted a continue surge in temperatures across the country, with hot weather on the northern coasts and very hot weather in Greater Cairo, Delta governorates, South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.
Moderate weather is expected across Egypt at night.
Temperatures will reach 37C on Sunday in Greater Cairo, 39C on Monday, 40C on Tuesday, and will decrease starting Thursday.
Hot weather is expected for Greater Cairo and Delta governorates on Thursday, with very hot weather in South Sinai and Southern Upper Egypt during daylight.
The Meteorological Authority asked people to continue wearing lighter clothes.
Winds will be active in northern Upper Egypt and South Sinai on Sunday and Monday and will be active in Greater Cairo, Delta governorates, and northern coasts on Wednesday.
