The National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) on Wednesday suggested postponing parliamentary elections until December, due to the country's ongoing security void.
The council also called for a new constitution and for all political forces to take part in its preparation before elections.
It criticized the issuing of the recent political rights law without taking into account the opinions of various civil society organizations and political forces.
It also called on the military council to expedite legislation aiming to prevent sectarian violence, such as the unified law on places of worship and the law on equal opportunities.
