The much-anticipated Renaissance Cinemas, Benha’s first ever cinema complex, officially opened its doors at Nile View Mall on Thursday.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of renowned producer, actress, and Al Arabia Cinema’s CEO, Esaad Younis.
This grand opening marks a significant step in Al Arabia Cinema’s expansion plans across Egyptian governorates. The initiative is part of a broader strategy led by Omar AlKhawaja, Board Member and Strategic Advisor of Al Arabia Cinema, the company behind Renaissance Cinemas.

This brings the total number of screens to 7, including two luxurious VIP experiences equipped with the latest technology for an unparalleled cinematic adventure. These additions follow a soft opening with 3 screens operating since April.
This expansion reflects Al Arabia Cinema’s commitment to the Egyptian film industry.
It’s a two-pronged approach: establishing cinemas in high-population governorates within Egypt, and supporting international distribution of Egyptian films through Al Arabia Cinema’s production and distribution arms across the Middle East.
