Egyptian, Ethiopian and Sudanese water ministers took part Wednesday in a meeting in Khartoum to review the offers from two consultancy firms on the technical studies for the the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.
Two French consultancy firms, BRL and Artelia, presented the final draft of their joint technical offer at the meeting.
The two-day meeting will agree on the date of contracting the two firms after their offers are accepted in the presence of the British legal office.
The involved parties will also agree on when to begin studies on the Ethiopian dam. The technical studies from the consultancy firms are part of the agreement of principles signed by leaders of the three countries in Khartoum in March 2015.
