As part of the state’s strategy for digital transformation, the Chamber of Diving and Water Sports (CDWS) in the Red Sea Governorate on Saturday will start implementing a digital transformation system for cruises and diving.
The system obliges chamber members from diving centers, aqua-centers, tourist launches, yachts, and submarines to obtain cruise notifications electronically, by launching the cruise notification application, in accordance with the decision of the Permanent Coordinating Committee formed by Ministerial Resolution #291 of 2021.
The CDWS confirmed that the new application allows member facilities to fill in the notification for implementing cruises electronically in easy and fast steps.
This is done in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the CDWS, the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, and the security authorities concerned with issuing permits for the implementation of marine activities.
This covers safaris, diving trips, daily yacht trips for diving and snorkeling activities, submarines, semi-submarines, glass-side yachts, glass-bottomed boats, beach diving and snorkeling activities.
