Red Sea Governor Ahmed Abdallah has announced, during a preliminary conference in Minya, that 20 investment opportunities will be available during the Upper Egypt investment conference to be held in a few weeks.
Among the investment opportunities are an international tourist center in Magawish, an international conference center, a Formula 1 race, a zoo, a film production city, a sports city, tourist resorts in Abu Doma and Safaga and an oil refinery in Ras Gharib.
He said there are also opportunities for a bullet train between Cairo, Hurghada, Luxor and Aswan, a seaport and a yacht marina in Quseir and desalination stations in various parts of the governorate.
