Red Cross buses have begun arriving at Ofer Prison, in preparation to transport Palestinian prisoners scheduled to be released as part of the ceasefire’s exchange deal.
AlQahera News reported, citing Israeli media, that the first batch of detainees will depart from the Netzarim area at 8:00 am, while the second batch will be delivered at 10:00 am from Khan Yunis and the camps in the central region.
An AlQahera News correspondent reported that the Israeli Prison Service has completed the preparations for the release of the Palestinian prisoners, including a number of prisoners serving life sentences.
The correspondent also confirmed that some of these prisoners have contacted their families and informed them that they are among those released.
As preparations continue, the families of the detainees have been instructed to prepare to transport their relatives to the first meeting point at the absorption facility in Re’im.
