Ramadan Recipe: Okra with Ground Beef
There are different ways to cook okra, but today we are giving you the recipe of okra with ground beef. It won't take a long time to prepare and its pretty delicious.
Ingredients:
1 kg okra
½ kg ground meat
2 tablespoons samna (ghee)
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 onions, chopped
1 cube of vegetable stock
2 cups water
Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
- Fry ground meat with ghee, salt, pepper and 1 tablespoon tomato paste and mix all the ingredients in a large frying pan over medium heat, then set it aside.
- Fry okra with 1 onion, chopped.
- Then pour in 2 cups of water
- Add cube of vegetable stock to add some flavor and a little amount of salt, pepper and 1 tablespoon tomato paste, then stir all the ingredients frequently till heated through.
- Place the pot into a hot oven for 10 to 15 minutes until it turns to brown.
- Then sprinkle the fried ground meat, which is prepared in the first step, over the surface of the okra.
- Serve and enjoy!
