Moderate to torrential thunderstorms are expected in some areas of the northwestern coasts (Alexandria – Salloum – Matrouh), with chances of rains at approximately 60 percent.
There is a 30 percent chance for light rain in some areas of northern Upper Egypt and the southern Red Sea mountains (Fayoum – Beni Suef – Minya – Halayeb – Shalateen – Ras Banas).
The weather will be moderate across most parts of the country and mild on the northwestern coasts at the daytime.
It will grow colder by night on Cairo, Lower Egypt, northern Upper Egypt, moderately cold on the northern coasts, southern Upper Egypt, and mild in South Sinai.
