Rainfall to end on Sunday, clearing the way for mild, sunny weather across Egypt

The current stint of bad weather that brought rain and clouds over Egypt is expected to clear by Sunday, paving the way for sunshine and mild temperatures.

The weather will grow cold across most parts of the country by night, and moderately cold on South Sinai.

On Saturday, light to moderate rainfall is expected on some parts of northern Nile Delta region (Kafr al-Sheikh, Behaira and Daqahlia).

Moderate rainfall is predicted in Alexandria, Matrouh, Rashid, and Salloum Governorates, while residents Damietta, Port Said, and al-Arish, and Rafah should expect heavy rain.

On Sunday, the rain will give way to a light mist in the morning falling on Cairo, the North Coast, northern Upper Egypt and the Delta Governorates.
