The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) announced that temperatures across the country will drop accompanied by rainfall, with values ranging between four to five degrees Celsius – the lowest temperature in some areas reaching three degrees.
In a statement, the EMA explained that the weather on Tuesday is expected to be cold during the day throughout Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, and northern Upper Egypt.
It added that the weather will be warmer in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt, growing very cold at night and early morning in most parts.
Frost will form on crops in central Sinai and New Valley Governorate.
There is a 50 percent chance of moderate and sometimes heavy rainfall expected in areas of Alexandria, the northern coasts, and northern Lower Egypt at intermittent intervals, with light to moderate rainfall in areas of southern Lower Egypt and Suez Canal cities.
Light intermittent rainfall is expected across central Sinai, Cairo, Giza, Qalyubiya, and northern Upper Egypt, with an incidence of approximately 30 percent.

Southern Upper Egypt: 24C
