Egypt’s Meteorological Authority predicts that the rain, wind, and fog are expected to return starting Saturday. The authority released the following forecast for the upcoming week.
Saturday, February 27:
Light rain is expected to fall along the north coast and central Sinai.
Morning fog will hang over agricultural land and highways close to water channels leading to and from Cairo, the Delta region, and northern Upper Egypt.
Sunday, February 28:
Light rain will continue over the north coast, and the fog will persist in the aforementioned areas.
Monday, March 1:
More fog and light rain, with added active winds over the northwest coast and South Sinai.
Fog will spread to the eastern coast.
Tuesday, March 2:
Tuesday looks a lot like Sunday.
Wednesday, March 3:
On Wednesday, the wind will make its way to Cairo, the north coast, Sinai, and Upper Egypt. Again, light rain up north and morning fog will persist.
Thursday, March 4:
The winds will leave Cairo Thursday, heading toward the northwest coast, Sinai, and Upper Egypt. Rain and fog in the same areas will persist.
