Egyptian authorities closed the Rafah border crossing on Friday, after it had been opened for three days.
Informed security sources from the crossing said in remarks on Friday that the border was exceptionally opened for three days to allow stranded Palestinians and humanitarian aid to enter Gaza.
He added that 1,413 people went through the crossing during the three days. Three thousand three hundred sixty-seven tons of construction materials were allowed entry to Gaza, in addition to 100 wheelchairs for the disabled.
