Residents of Rabaa al-Adaweya, where pro-Morsy protesters have been staging a sit-in for more than two weeks, are staging a rally against Rabaa protesters at al-Zohour Club in Nasr City.
The residents said in a statement Thursday that Rabaa protesters have apologized to them but did not take action in response to their demands. They accused the protesters of inciting violence against them.
Residents appealed to interim president Adly Mansour to intervene immediately and rescue them.
Rabaa protesters have apologized to residents for the inconvenience they have caused since their sit-in started on 28 June 2013.
