The Qatari Al-Rayyan Club officially announced the signing of Egyptian international player Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet during the current summer transfer period, coming in from the Turkish Trabzonspor team.
The Al-Rayyan Club wrote on its official account on “X”that Trezeguet has joined the team coming from the Turkish Premier League, commenting: “Mahmoud Trezeguet chose Al-Rayyan.”
The Qatari club also revealed that Trezeguet will wear the shirt number eight in Al-Rayyan.
During the current season, Trezeguet participated with the Trabzonspor team in seven matches, during which he scored one goal.
In total, the 29-year-old played 76 matches with the team, during which he scored 14 goals and made 16.
Trezeguet played 74 matches with the Egyptian national team, during which he scored 18 goals and made nine others.
Last season, Trezeguet played 27 matches with Trabzonspor in various competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing five assists.
He also played four matches in the qualifying rounds of the Europa League and scored a goal, before moving to the qualifying rounds of the European Conference League.
Trezeguet’s contract with his Turkish club ends in the summer of 2026, after joining Trabzonspor from Aston Villa for four million euros.
