A Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesperson said his country condemns the Mansoura explosion which left at least 13 people dead on Tuesday.
The source told Qatar News Agency that his country strongly condemns acts that violate all human values, and called on all parties to exercise restraint and maintain Egypt’s stability and security, which in turn, means the stability of the region.
The source also said that Qatar renounces violence in all its forms, regardless of the perpetrator. He added that dialogue among all parties is the only way to preserve national unity.
Earlier on Tuesday, at least 13 people were killed and more than 100 wounded in a massive explosion at a security compound in Egypt's Nile Delta area of Mansoura.
