Prosecutors continue investigation into Giza tourist bus blast

 

Top prosecutor Nabil Sadeq instructed the supreme state security prosecutors to move to the scene of the Friday evening bomb attack where three tourists were killed on route to the pyramids of Giza.

Prosecutors also headed to Haram Hospital to listen to the testimonies of survivors, according to a statement issued by the top prosecutor’s office on Friday.

An explosive device exploded next to a tourist bus carrying 14 Vietnamese tourists, a driver, and a tour guide near the Giza pyramids on Friday, killing three tourists and the Egyptian tour guide while the driver and remaining 11 passengers were injured.

Sadeq also ordered forensic experts to examine the deceased and ordered the seizure of surveillance cameras in the vicinity of the incident.

The statement said that the top prosecutor was following up the incident closely and will continue to announce the necessary information.
