CAIRO, Aug 17 (MENA) – President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi issued on Thursday decree no. 347 of 2023 concerning the reappointment of Dr Sherif Sedky as head of the Egyptian Space Agency for another year starting August 19, 2023.
Sedky was appointed as Director of the Yousef Jameel Center for Science and Technology in 2010. He served as the first president of Zewail University of Science and Technology from 2013 to 2015 before he became the academic president of the American University in Cairo. Sedky returned to Zewail City to become its academic president for the second time in 2017.
