Presidential candidates Abdel Moneim Abouel Fotouh and Ayman Nour, together with nine political parties and movements, have announced their support for presidential candidate Amr Moussa’s proposal for an advisory committee comprised of 100 public figures to help the military council resolve the political, economic and social problems that the country is facing during the transitional period.
They have also launched a campaign to collect signatures against the new law on electoral constituencies, calling for applying the “unconditional proportional lists system” for all parliamentary seats for parties, independents and coalitions running in the elections.
They also called for abolishing the 50 percent allocation of seats to workers and the other 50 percent to farmers.
