Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has responded to the greetings of the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, after he tweeted a welcoming message to President Sisi.
Sisi said: “I am very happy and proud to visit friendly India and participate in the Republic Day celebrations in New Delhi as a main guest, which makes us more determined to continue strengthening bilateral relations and the distinguished coordination between us, and I look forward to fruitful meetings and discussions with my dear friend Modi.”
Modi has posted on his Twitter account a special welcome to President Sisi, saying: “A warm welcome to India, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi”.
“Your historic visit to India as chief guest of our Republic Day celebrations is a matter of immense happiness for all Indians. I look forward to our discussions tomorrow.”
