President Abdel Fattah El Sisi attended a dinner hosted by US President Joe Biden at the White House for African leaders participating in the US-African States Summit.
The banquet came on the sidelines of the second day of the summit, which witnessed the activities of the US-Africa Business Forum, according to presidential spokesman Bassam Rady.
Addressing the leaders gathered at the White House, the US president praised the friendship and partnership of the United States and Africa.
“Together, we can deliver a world that is healthier and safer, more equal, more just, more prosperous, and more filled with opportunity for everyone,” Biden said.
The US president also spoke about the ties that “forever bind Africa and the United States together.”
