The Official Gazette in Egypt, in its issue No. 47 bis (A), published Presidential Decree No. 554 of 2025 approving the Memorandum of Understanding and the Loan Facility Agreement under the Macroeconomic and Budgetary Support Mechanism between the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the European Union, amounting to four billion euros.
President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi’s decree stipulates: “Approval of the Memorandum of Understanding and the Loan Facility Agreement under the Macroeconomic and Budgetary Support Mechanism between the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the European Union, amounting to four billion euros, subject to ratification.”
