President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his Cypriot counterpart Nikos Christodoulides agreed Wednesday to pursue strategic partnership between the two countries and promote ties in the various spheres, especially in trade, clean and renewable energy.
The two leaders also agreed on enhancing economic and military ties along with pursuing coordination at the political level toward various issues of mutual interest.
During a joint press conference held with his Cypriot counterpart following their talks at Al Ittihadiya Presidential Palace on Wednesday, President Sisi expressed his aspiration that the next period will witness more cooperation and coordination between Egypt and Cyprus, in order to achieve prosperity for the two brotherly peoples
