Presidency sources: Presidential team of 4 advisers announced Saturday

The names of the presidential team to assist President Mohamed Morsy will be announced Saturday, and will include 4 advisers, sources at the presidency said.

The sources, requesting anonymity, told Al-Masry Al-Youm that the list of presidential advisers include Coptic thinker Samir Morkous, Head of the Salafi-oriented Nour Party Emad Abdel Ghafour and professor of political science at Cairo University Pakinam Al-Sharqawi, in addition to writer Sakina Fouad, who did not confirm accepting the post.

Sources noted that additional names being discussed include the acting head of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party Essam el-Erian and Social Democratic Party member Ziad Bahaa Eddin.

Presidency spokesperson Yasser Ali told Anatolia News Agency Friday that talks were being held Friday evening to decide on the final list of the names of the presidential team, which will be officially announced Saturday morning.

President Adviser for Legal Affairs Mohamed Fouad Gaballah said the presidential team holds a number of surprises, including many other young names.
