The presidency has condemned the explosions that took place in Boston Marathon on Monday, which left three killed and at least 152 injured, and offered condolences.
A brief statement said, “The presidency offers condolences to the American people over the victims killed in explosions on Monday near the finishing line of the Boston Marathon, in Massachusetts.”
The presidency expressed solidarity with families of the victims and the injured.
US authorities have yet to identify the perpetrators of the explosions.
President Barack Obama said in an address from the White House on Monday: "We will find out who did this and why they did this," vowing that, "Any responsible individuals and responsible groups will feel the full weight of justice."
