Political groups on Sunday continued to condemn statements made by the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) accusing the April 6 Youth Movement of being funded and trained by foreign governments.
The Damietta National Council denounced the accusations and affirmed that the members of the movement are all patriots.
In Daqahlia and Giza, hundreds staged demonstrations and accused the remnants of the former regime of spreading the rumors.
In Minya, supporters of the movement sprayed the walls of the city with graffiti in praise of it, while in Luxor, hundreds staged demonstrations requesting the military council meet the demands of the revolution.
