Policeman killed by two unidentified assailants

A policeman affiliated with the Traffic General Management was killed Sunday morning by two unidentified assailants on a motorcycle in al-Salam City while heading to work.
 
According to security sources two armed men on a motorcycle shot Dead Emad Eddin Abdel Aziz, 37, residing in al-Marg neighborhood while heading to work and seized his rifle before they fled.
 
Cairo security leaders headed to the place of the incident. A report was filed and the prosecution took over investigations.
 
Hundreds of police and army personnel have been killed since the ouster of President Mohamed Morsy in 2013. Authorities accuse the Muslim Brotherhood, to which Morsy belongs, of being behind the attacks.
