The prime ministers of Algeria and Egypt will co-chair the seventh joint committee meetings to start in Cairo on Thursday.
Abdelmalek Sellal has arrived here later Wednesday.
He will hold talks with a number of Egyptian officials on means of boosting bilateral cooperation.
His talks will also focus on the situation in Libya, Syria and Iraq.
Sellal and the Egyptian officials will also discuss coordination between the two countries regarding African files.
Reforming the Arab League system will also figure high at Sellal's talks.
