Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly welcomed on Monday his Palestinian counterpart Mohammad Shtayyeh and his accompanying delegation at Cairo International Airport.
The high-ranking Palestinian delegation groups the ministers of foreign affairs and expatriates, interior, national economy, Awqaf and religious affairs, health, agriculture, public works and housing, higher education and scientific research, transport and communications, as well as the head of the Palestinian Energy and Natural Resources Authority.
An official reception ceremony was held for the Palestinian prime minister and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ayman Ashour.
Madbouly and Shtayyeh are scheduled to hold a plenary session of talks, in the presence of the ministers from the Egyptian and Palestinian sides, to discuss a number of cooperation files between Egypt and the Palestinian Authority.
