Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has discussed with the World Bank (WB) delegation taking steady steps to implement what was stated in the state-owned enterprises.
This came during Madbouly’s meeting Sunday in the New Administrative Capital with WB officials to follow up on the technical support efforts provided by the WB to implement the policy document on state-ownership of government companies.
Minister of International Cooperation Rania al-Mashaat attended the meeting.
Country Director for Egypt, Yemen and Djibouti, Middle East and North Africa Regional Director of the WB in Egypt, Yemen and Djibouti Stephane Guimbert and Lead Economist of the WB’s country office in Egypt Mark Ahern were also present.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister said the meeting came within the framework of his periodic follow-up of the efforts made by the relevant government agencies in coordination with the WB work team to implement the policy document on state ownership and governance of government companies.
