Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly said the return of Syria to the Arab League and the summit meetings – with the participation of the Syrian president – is an effective step for closing ranks and activating the joint Arab action.
During the cabinet meeting on Wednesday in the New Administrative Capital, Madbouli lauded the positive climate of the 32nd Arab summit that was attended by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
He hailed the outcome of a recent visit by Oman’s Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to Egypt and his talks with President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
The talks tackled a host of regional and international issues of mutual concern as well as ongoing efforts to boost trade exchange.
Madbouli referred to a visit by Sultan Haitham to the New Administrative Capital and lauded the great achievement realized there.
The premier also highlighted Egypt’s hosting of the annual meetings of the African Development Bank (AfDB).
The premier also reviewed the outcome of his visit to “Decent Life” projects in Giza’s el Saf area as well as his visit to Sixth of October Dry port.
