PM: Sisi’s meeting with Matrouh residents included many important messages

NEW ALAMEIN, Egypt, Aug 17 (MENA) – Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said that President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi’s meeting with Matrouh residents on Wednesday included many important messages and an emphasis on the continuity of implementing more development and service projects that are set to have a positive effect on the governorate’s inhabitants.

Madbouly made the remarks as he chaired on Thursday a Cabinet meeting at the government’s headquarters in New Alamein City.

The Cabinet meeting touched on the tripartite summit bringing together Egypt, Jordan and Palestine which has recently been held in New Alamein City among President Sisi, Jordanian King Abdullah II and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

The summit discussed the latest updates as regards the Palestinian cause in the light of current developments, in addition to relevant regional and international conditions.

Madbouly pointed out to the key messages contained in the closing statement of the summit, which emphasized the continuity of supporting the Palestinian cause as well as proceeding with intensified consultation and coordination at all regional and international levels; leading up to achieving just and comprehensive peace for the Palestinian people in accordance with international law and terms of reference.
