Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly inaugurated on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, Ataba market development project.
He was accompanied by a number of officials.
The development of Ataba market is part of the state’s plan to develop historic and informal markets and transform them into organized urban and commercial centers that keep pace with the requirements of sustainable urban development while preserving the unique heritage and architectural character of the area.
The project aims to create a safe and civilized commercial environment that supports integrating informal activities into the formal economy, in addition to enhancing the economic and investment value of central Cairo, in line with Egypt Vision 2030.
