Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has said the government is paying a greater attention to the role of the private sector in its development action plans.
He added the factory of Yazaki, a Japanese car parts supplier, is mainly contributing to strengthening and localizing projects of manufacturing components of cars in accordance with the National Strategy for Developing Automotive Industry.
Yazaki company is producing wire harnesses. The company’s wiring harnesses are used in a variety of applications, including engine management, infotainment, and safety systems.
That came at a meeting the premier held with a delegation representing the Yazaki Europe Limited Corporation in the government district in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) on Wednesday 31/1/2024.
The meeting aimed at following up the project of manufacturing electric wire harnesses of cars in Fayyoum governorate, using 30 million euros ($33.27 million) in investments.
Madbouli said he was keen to meet the company’s delegation following laying the foundation stone of the factory producing electric wire harnesses, car components, and electric systems in Fayyoum.
