Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly greeted President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on the occasion of the New Year.
In a cable of greetings, the prime minister wished Egypt more security, stability and peace.
Madbouly said the government will exert more effort to achieve aspirations of all Egyptians.
