NEW AL ALAMAIN, Egypt, Aug 3 (MENA) – Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly asserted on Thursday his keenness on following up the final details concerning the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) project and its surrounding area.
This comes within President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi’s directives to provide a distinguished experience to visitors and tourists within efforts to make the area as the most important archeological destination in the world, Cabinet Spokesman Nader Saad said.
This came during the premier’s meeting with Transportation Minister Kamel el Wazir, Local Development Minister Hisham Amna, Tourism and Antiquities Minister Ahmed Eissa, Housing Minister Essam el Gazzar, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities of Egypt Mostafa Waziri, Giza Governor Ahmed Rahed and other officials concerned in which they discussed the progress of the implementation of the museum and developing its surrounding area, roads as well as the Metro Line 4 and the ring road.
