Planning ministry issues report on gov’t performance improvement project

Ministry of Planning and Economic Development has issued a report on government performance improvement project pursued in cooperation between the ministry and the Administrative Prosecution Authority (APA).

The project aims to enhance performance of public utilities nationwide and improve citizens’ life quality by assessing and measuring government performance, providing decision-makers with real data that contributes to scaling up performance of civil servants and government bodies, Planning and Economic Development Minister Hala al-Saeed said in statements on Saturday 13/04/2024.

It will also provide the supporting mechanism which APA officials need to perform their duties, the minister noted.

Meanwhile, Eng. Ashraf Abdel Hafeez, Assistant Minister for Digital Transformation, explained that the project is divided into three sections, namely improving the government complaint and performance measurement system, developing disciplinary justice databases, and training.
