Minister of Planning and Economic Development and Chairperson of the Sovereign Fund of Egypt (TSFE) Hala el Saeed congratulated the TSFE-affiliated Misr Insurance Holding Company (MIHC) for excellently obtaining the highest credit rating from the “AM BEST” global institution specialized in rating insurance companies.
In a statement, the minister described the company as a significant economic entity that groups distinguished experiences and competencies, as well as investment assets and promising opportunities.
She hailed a presidential decision in March 2023 to transfer MIHC’s full ownership to TSFE as an important step towards achieving further development and expansion in providing non-banking financial services that suit all the needs of the Egyptians in all sectors, as well as supporting digital transformation efforts and utilizing modern technological capabilities and techniques in developing the company’s operations.
