Photos: Pharaonic banners catch the attention of Egyptians on the Ring Road

Images of development work being done on the Ring Road have gone viral on Egyptian social media as users shared images of the Pharaonic banners used to improve the visual identity of the road amid preparations for inaugurating the Grand Egyptian Museum.

Large banners were posted on the walls of houses adjacent to the Ring Road, featuring images of archaeological figures from Ancient Egyptian civilization.

The state is working to expand the Ring Road, drawing lines to define traffic lanes, and constructing electric bus stations to replace microbuses.

The development comes in order to improve the aesthetic appearance for tourist destinations throughout the governorate, as part of the project to develop the Ring Road’s visual identity.

The pictures served to attract the attention of drivers and commuters on the Ring Road.
