The first regular Russian flight is scheduled to arrive in Hurghada Airport on Monday afternoon, after a hiatus of nearly six years.
Eight Russian airlines have obtained permits to travel from the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency to Hurghada, and Sharm el-Sheikh, and they will start their flights from Moscow, Kaliningrad, Tyumen, Chelyabinsk, Omsk, Saratov, Perm, Samara, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Volgograd, Krasnodar, Ufa, Novosibirsk and Rostov.
The total number of companies authorized to organize the Russian flights is now around 10.
Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh airport officials have completed full preparations to receive Russian tourists on Monday, stressing the implementation of all precautionary measures followed at the two airports.
