In photos: Another face of Cairo’s revolution

Since Friday, violence has been raging in different parts of Egypt as police clash with angry protesters, the day when Egypt commemorated its 25 January revolution. While words have not been enough to capture the anger that drove this violence to unfold, images have contributed to mediating the mood of the street, where the balance of power between authority and subjects is temporalily suspended. This series of images comes from different days of the fighting around Tahrir Square in Cairo.
