Photos: Ain Dubai, the world’s tallest observation wheel, opens to the public on October 21

The world’s tallest observation wheel, Ain Dubai, is set to be opened to the public on October 21 – adding yet another impressive architectural achievement to Dubai’s skyline.

At a staggering 250 meters tall, the observation wheel located at Bluewaters Island is a remarkable engineering masterpiece – each leg supporting is 126 meters tall, the length of 15 London buses while its hub and spindle are the four A380 aircrafts wide.

But the “Dubai Eye” (Ain Dubai) has more to offer than its magnificent engineering.

Open day and night, the wheel offers a 360-degree view of Dubai’s stunning urban skyline, with each of its 48 air-conditioned cabins offering up to 1,750 visitors an experience found nowhere else.

Sightseers can delight in a breathtaking view of some of the UAE’s finest landmarks such as Palm Jumeirah, the Burj Khalifa and the Burj al-Arab.

And as if that wasn’t enough, the wheel boasts a state-of-the-art LED screen for all the latest entertainment purposes.

The giant observation wheel is equipped with three types of cabins to enjoy the 38-minute ride in a relaxing, luxurious mode: observation cabins (the standard option), social cabins (“VIP” option which includes a bar) and private cabins–offering three-course dinner– where you can celebrate momentous occasions.
