Philip Morris Egypt announced a new price list for its HEETS tobacco products and traditional cigarettes of all kinds from Merit, Marlboro and L&M brands.
“This price increase is a necessity to continue to secure our ability to provide smokers and adult nicotine users in Egypt with the high-quality products they are looking for,” said the General Manager of Philip Morris Egypt & Levant Ali Karman in a statement on Wednesday.
The new Philip Morris Egypt price list:
- A Merit package of all kinds: LE64
- A Marlboro package of all kinds: LE59
- A Marlboro Crafted package of all kinds: LE49
- An L&M package of all kinds: LE42
- A package of HEETS Selections of all kinds: LE50
- A package of HEETS Dimensions of all kinds: LE50
In a statement, Philip Morris Egypt affirmed its commitment to supplying the market with all its products, through retailers and distributors, according to official prices.
It called on all merchants to adhere to the price lists issued and approved by the company.
The company explained that the prices of all its products are announced transparently through the QR Code that was applied to the packages of traditional cigarettes and packages of heated tobacco rolls.
Philip Morris Egypt confirmed that it will announce any rise in prices to protect the consumer from illegal practices and to support the state in its efforts to control the markets.
