The Egyptian Interior Ministry announced on Monday that a collision between a jet-ski and an inflatable boat in the North Lake in the village of Marina II, resulted in the death of a pharmacist and the injury of three members of his family.
In a statement, the ministry explained that investigations on July 26 showed that the Marina Police Department in the Matrouh Security Directorate received a report on the accident between the boat and the jet-ski led by a student residing in the Sheikh Zayed area in Giza Governorate.
The accident resulted in the death of a pharmacist and the injury of his wife and two sons, who were on board the boat, and they were taken to a hospital for treatment.
“The perpetrator of the accident was arrested at the time, and when asked, she reported unintentionally colliding with the aforementioned people. By presenting her to the Public Prosecution, it decided to detain her pending investigations.”
