The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources announced the seventh edition of EGYPES 2024, the largest international energy conference and exhibition will convene in February, 2024 in Cairo at the Egypt International Exhibition Center.
The event will he held under the rubric “stimulating energy: securing supplies, energy transition and emissions reduction” with the participation of over 35,000 attendees from local & international businesses to identify opportunities from Egypt, North Africa and the Mediterranean’s future project requirements.
As many as 500 exhibitors, 300 spokesmen, 2,200 members of delegations, 15 international pavilions representing 120 countries are expected to take part in the exhibition.
In statements on Wednesday, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tareq al-Molla said the upcoming version of the conference will eye an expansion of goals and viewpoints to be themed “Egypt’s Conference for Energy.”
This edition will tackle all issues related to the energy
sector as part of efforts aimed at turning the conference into a global platform for supporting transition to green energy, added Molla.
Molla’s remarks were made at the first meeting of the high ad hoc committee for the exhibition under his chairmanship.
The minister said that the conference has become one of the most important global events that is aiming to stimulate investments and businesses in the energy market worldwide.
The world’s greater interest in the conference and its successful partnerships are boosting Egypt’s role as a regional hub for energy, Molla concluded.
