The opening “procedural session” of Egypt’s 568-seat House of Representatives will most likely be held on January 10, according to Legal Affairs Minister Magdy el-Agati.
The assembly will convene after the end of Christmas and Coptic vacations, the minister told parliament reporters on Tuesday.
Elections for the chamber ended on December 2.
