Rahab Radwan, a member of the Egyptian weightlifting team, clinched the second gold medal for Egypt at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
With this gold medal, Radwan added the second gold to Egypt’s tally at the Paris 2024 Paralympics, following the gold medal won earlier by champion Mohamed El-Meniawy.
Egypt is participating in the Games with a delegation of 54 athletes representing 10 sports: Paralympic weightlifting, Paralympic athletics, sitting volleyball, goalball, Paralympic swimming, Paralympic table tennis, parataekwondo, boccia, Paralympic rowing, and para-cycling.
Egypt has previously won 184 medals in various Paralympic Games, including 49 gold, 68 silver, and 67 bronze medals. With this latest achievement, Egypt’s total medal count has risen to 186, including 51 gold medals.
