
CAIRO, Feb 16 (MENA) – Palestine’s permanent delegate to the Arab League Muhannad al Aklouk lauded the efforts exerted by Egypt’s health and social solidarity ministries as well as the Red Crescent in supporting the Palestinian people and saving the life of the wounded from the Gaza Strip.
They also commended efforts by Egypt to facilitate the return of Palestinians to Gaza after receiving their treatment in Egypt.
The diplomat made the remarks while visiting Rafah border terminal and Arish city as part of a delegation of the Arab League to check on aid entry mechanisms.
The delegation was accompanied by a convoy comprising 20 aid trucks loaded with 200 tons of humanitarian aid.
The delegation visited the Red Crescent warehouses and Arish hospital where they inspected a number of wounded Palestinians.
